Candlestick of splayed form with raised band to rim and foot, the associated cylindrical neck surmounted by a tapering element with four raised bands, engraved and decorated with a central band to the body of inscription-filled cartouches in thuluth, the neck and upper element engraved and decorated in silver inlay with further bands of inscription and foliate interlace, two later ownership inscriptions to body.

Inscriptions: al-‘izz wa (sic) al-da’im wa [a]l-iqbal al-ni’am wa al-jud … al-‘ilm (?) wa al-jidd … al-karam wa …, ; sahibuhu qadi muhammad bin hasan …; sahibuhu sakinah bint muhammad hakim (? khalid ?); sahibihi qadi muhammad bin hasan …; sahibihi sakinah bint muhammad hakim (? khalid ?). ‘Perpetual and (sic) Glory, grace and generosity … knowledge (?) and … good-fortune, generosity and …; Perpetual glory and complete prosperity and rising good fortune and eternal grace and victory and long-life to its owner; Its owner, Qadi (the judge) Muhammad bin Hasan …; Its owner Sakinah the daughter of Muhammad Hakim (? Khalid?).
