Large calligraphic panel signed by Hasan Fauzi, in Arabic, illuminated manuscript on board. Probably Ottoman Turkey, dated 1263 AH (1847 AD)
Single panel, stylised calligraphy in black outlined in gold, against a brown background, framed within a gold frame adorned with blue and white flowers on a winding green vine, two varying motifs gauffered into the gold border and vines, margins decorated with delicate gold floral sprays accented in white and green, a few early watermarks and light finger soiling, else clean and bright condition.
